Tonight.. I had nothing to do.. FOR ONCE. So I enjoyed my evening alone.
First I treated myself to Sutao Cafe, a little asian vegan restaurant over in Frazer. I got General Tso's tofu, with steamed broccoli and brown rice. It was good! Scared me a little, it was really chicken-like. I sort of wish it wasn't fried also.. but still good, and lots of leftovers (as always, with asian food!)
Then I went to Target for a while and just looked around. Then I came back here and finally got around to taking some pictures of my food drawer and fridge in my dorm room for you guys! Here's the drawer:
Something to ignore: the little can of "Just Whites" powdered egg whites.. me and Chris used it for the royal icing on our graham cracker houses.. which we did not eat haha. I guess I don't have a use for it anymore!
And.. my fridge!
To ignore: my stash of diet sodas on the middle shelf.. shhh.. you saw nothing.
Adventures of a veg*n.

Hee hee- I love peeking into other peoples' things. You have quite a stocked up kitchen drawer! I see you have shown restraint and still have some Valentine's Day chocolates left... Cool! I never lived in a dorm, so I can do it vicariously through you here.
P.S. Can I ask a really stupid blogging question? How do you get the labels section to the right? Is it a feature on blogger than I could turn on somehow? I've got tons of labels, but haven't organized them into a column like you have. Help!
Oh man, I love peanut butter. It costs close to 7 dollars a jar for crappy store brand. When we went to Vienna, I ate a jar of Skippy crunchy in 2 days, and bought another to bring back. And I'm eating it right now..with a spoon.
What a well-stocked food drawer you have! That tofu really does look chicken-like - a little freaky but tasty looking. The mini fridge really takes me back to the college days...
mmm..that tofu looks so good. I love chinese tofu. They sure know how to deep fry it!
i love your food drawer , as the diet coke... i dont see anything LOL
What diet sodas? I see nothing, hear nothing, say nothing. You look like you have a good stash. You are lucky to have a vegan restaurant around. DH told me today that we need to find one and he will take me there. I have a sweet omniman.
Hi I'm back! Thanks for the kick in the butt I needed to overhaul my blog!
Nice to have a night to do nothing! I'll have to try that restaurant next time I'm visiting my brother & sister in law--looks good.
As for keeping up with Philly events--do you get City Paper or Philadelphia Weekly? They're free and have all sorts of listings, events, concerts, etc.
The tofu looks so delish! I love looking at pantries and fridges... hee hee. Thanks for sharing.
I also like to look... thanks!
