I thought I would show you what I eat here at school. Since I live in a dorm, I'm required to get a meal plan. I have the 175 meal block, so I get 175 meals each semester. Each meal is worth $4.00.. so that's why some of these things have prices on them.
I bought all this today, plus two bananas and an apple.
Carrots, celery and broccoli cup.. it always comes with ranch dressing, blegh! Squash, and cauliflower.
Adventures of a veg*n.

Good stuff there, young lady!! i'm likin' what i see!!! (but i'd need a cookie to go w/it all...)
looks like your getting your veggies worth..
Good way to get tons of veggies! So overall, do you think your school gives you what you need as a vegan? I never lived in a dorm, so all this stuff is exotic to me!
Bazu - No they definitely don't. This is what I've got.. fruits and veggies. Where's the protein in that? I think once every two weeks tofu is one of the entrees in the caf. There's no soy milk either. I spent a lot of extra money. It's a hassle.
Hey T-
Just checking in on my cookie swap buddy!
Do they have any peanut butter around? That's one way to sneak in some protein on their dime.
Otherwise the veggies look pretty good. Your St P day cookies look yummy and that pic of you and your boy is so cute!
Looks like you've got some healthy options, but no where near a balanced meal. Do you supplement elsewhere? I guess you're not allowed to have anything in your room, eh?
Ugh, can I tell you that I HATE when students are required to be on the meal plan? Our meal plan here at UGA is not required, and it's way more balanced and got more healthy options than most. Looks like you're not doing too bad though... My little sister's freshman year of college she had to be one the meal plan--which pretty much meant Chick-fil-a or Pizza Hut for every meal. Gross!!!
Jody - Hehe I have to watch out with the peanut butter, when I keep it here in my dorm room I just eat the whole jar with a spoon.. I've done it in just two days before. I do have some almonds in my drawer though!
Hey Carrie - Sure I can have food in my room. I made a post a few weeks ago of my food drawer and fridge.. Which are full of extra food that I have to keep because of what I don't get from my meal plan.
Laura - yeah.. I feel like that should be a valid argument for me to get out of having a mandatory meal plan. They REQUIRE me too, but I CAN'T get what I need from them. That's not fair.
good looking veggies there - i'd gobble those up! seems like they could offer gardenburgers for you there @ school... your apricot thingies sound delicious to me! :o)
