And afterwards! It was good too :-D
Oh, and this is the apple "cheese" danish streudel-y thing I made for The Urban Vegan's dessert contest a while ago. I just made it again last night per request. It's all they ever want at work anymore. Here's the recipe.
Well.. back to work!

that looks pretty fancy
That pie looks really good. It certainly doesn't look like a first pie, I'm so impressed. I often manage to get my pie crusts to not stay the right shape. I need to practise I guess.
The struedel thing looks great too. I wish I was more of a baking genius.
beautiful beautiful...great stuff. Love the braid.
How did I miss the danish/streudel dessert the first time around? It looks delicious. And given Marty's love for anything apple-y he'd totally dig this. It's going on my must make list for sure.
Congratulations for your work, that is very good, and have a good month of vacation
they look Spectacular!!!
*that's* your first pie??! I've made plenty of pies and none of them have come out looking anywhere near that pretty or professional. You are a natural!
Heheh, growing up with a Mom and Grammy like mine, I think it would be strange if my first pie DIDN'T look like that. Plus I'm a perfectionist. I'm glad it turned out so well, I've always been scared of pie but now I want to make more!
Now I just need a pie plate, a rolling pin and pastry cutter of my own...
wow, that was your time time making a pie??? it looks PERFECT!!! bravo!
a little late here, but that's hella impressive!
