Birthdays, School, Food

Augh, it's been a while. School is so busy, already! Here's a look at my schedule:

So yeah.. that's why I haven't been posting much! But backing up a little, my birthday was a little over a week ago. Here's what I got from my family!A blender, a hand blender, a food processor and a mandoline.. sweet! I got an apron too, and my sister made me a purse. And also I got a DYMO labeler, it's awesome. I'll show you guys sometime.

Chris' parents got me alllll this! It's everything I need to make a pie. So you guys will be seeing one of those sometime soon!

And Chris' birthday was this past Sunday (he's 21, yayyy.) I gave him this..

And also I pre-ordered season 3 of Lost for him. And I made him dinner.. Chick'n parm with Boca patties and vegan cheese. It was awesome! He said it's way up there on the good list of things I've made, and he said I can make that anytime. Heh.

So yesterday I made him his favorite banana bread.. but I VEGANIZED it! I will definitely share the recipe soon, because it was fantastic.

And I made this for dinner last night.. just a sort of Mexican-style pasta. With corn, kidney beans, spinach, onions, tomatoes, peppers.. and like.. cumin and chili powder. Not bad!

Wow it's so cool to see a vegan in West Chester!!! I went to elementary school there and lived in Thornton for 6 years!

Ooh and I'm really jealous that you got to go to Sticky Fingers :o)

Oh my goodness, your schedule is making me exhausted, super-student-lady!

Oh, and I am in love with your b-day gifts and the ones you gave Chris! How cool that your b-days are so close together. I remember when you were trying to figure out how to veganize the banana bread- and now you've done it, yay!

You guys are the cutest. Good luck with the semester!

Oh my goodness your schedule is insane!! I only have two classes each day, and I'm always home from school (college) by 1:00pm!! Kudos for remaining sane with your schedule! :0)

Your birthday certainly sounds like it was a lot of fun!! What great presents!! And the present you gave Chris is awesome - I love those types of photo frames.

Your banana bread sounds great as well - I love making Carob Chip Banana bread, as well as Maple Banana bread. And I love pasta as well, so both of your food pictures in this post are making my mouth water! :0)
