Well, It's Not Food But..

Lol Chris knows the way to my heart.. I got socks for Valentine's Day! I think he outcrafted me with this one.. he knows I don't like flowers so he made a bouquet out of the socks! Around a bottle of sparkling grape juice, which we then shared.

Update: I have some coupons for Morningstar Farms products so I think I'm gonna go use them soon.. anybody have any particular product suggestions? I've never gotten their stuff before.. and I know some of it isn't vegan either.

Now, you have to tell us what the inside of that card says!! ;)

All of your valentine's treats, and pre-valentine's banana-goodness, sound fabulous. Just thought I'd add that I LOVE chocolate and coconut, too, and I also love socks.

Haha, it's totally practical. I kept having to do laundry because I ran out of socks!

The card is pretty funny.. the inside says like.. "wait, theres no baseball in February! And there we are.. naked, with nothing to do.. hmm.." haha.

more socks = less laundry = more time to bake. it's a win/win for everybody. thoughtful guy! :o)

That sock bouquet is adorable!

I buy the Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles quite often and use them for bolognese sauce. My husband likes the Chik'n Strips, but I am not so keen. I think they seem a bit too much like real chicken sometimes...

That is the best gift ever!! I like Morningstar Farms bacon strips & Buffalo Wings, but I'm not sure if they're vegan. I used to like the chick pot pies but on my last trip to the States, I couldn't find them. I don't even know if they still make them. They probably have egg whites or dairy in them though.

OH, my very favorite veggie dogs are by Morningstar! I don't know if they're vegan either. Sorry.

ScottishVegan, I was actually eyeing up the crumbles, now I have the second opinion so I guess they're a go!

And Carrie, bummer the buffalo wings do have milk and egg! Haha, I was really thinking about getting them. Maybe I'll find a seitan wing recipe...

Chris (the omni boyfriend) is a sweetheart :-) He's willing to try most stuff I eat, and said he'll taste test these with me! I'll let you guys know how the adventure turns out!

Tania, that card is super funny! Silly boys.

I haven't purchased any Morningstar products in a LONG time . . . my friend Christine really likes their chik'n patties, and I've had the nuggets before, but felt a little sick afterwards. I eat hardly any processed food, so I figure it was probably some processing that made me feel icky, not Morningstar itself. Who knows? Can't wait to hear what you try, though!

That is such a great gift. First of all, you can never have enough socks. Second of all, look how artistically they are arranged into flowers! Did he enjoy your banana bread? Looks like you had a great V-day. (Your mom rocks- those chocolates look crazy!)

I love the sock bouquet! My mom sent me a couple pairs of heart patterned socks, which I love, but I wish she'd sent me those chocolates, too!
